Girls Camp! 2nd Edition

so we had girls camp a few weeks ago, set in beautiful Paris, Idaho, population 3-hundred-something. It was even more fun than the last. As soon as we set up our tents, it started to rain and we had to stay in our tents for ten minutes. Of course we made some awesome crafts and ate really yummy food over the campfire. On the night of our class skits, we were visited by a celebrity...AKA Grandpa Don:) he starred in the leader's skit as a great king, complete with a tiara.

We had hobo dinners that night, which made everyone sick the next day. We decided not to go on our 8-mile hike(that's not round trip, just half) and instead drove the 8 miles up to beautiful bloomington lake, where we swung out on a rope and jumped in. It was awesome!

After arriving in Paris, we visited the Tabernacle. A few of the exciting and funny things were: getting to spend a day at bear lake, hearing my friend Niya talk in her sleep, hearing my friend Sarah complain about being slapped by the sleeping Niya(with the exclamation of "TREEEE!!!")and having an additional rope swing over the creek at our campsite. A few of the less exciting things were: a really, really(really, REALLY) gross bathroom, accidentally leaving my shoes out in the rain due to the 'no shoes in the tent!' rule, having to walk around the muddy campsite in my flip-flops for two days because of previously said wet shoes, and, having to share your supposedly 8-person tent with 8 other people(four on each side of me, I was smack in the middle of everyone/thing). Overall, even though we got rained on, sick, and muddy, it was definitely a success!
